Booking activities

Please note: if you do not see an activities option on the homepage search widget, then this category is not yet available in your country.


For most travelers, the true value of a trip lies not in the destination itself but in the experiences they enjoy once they get there. By proactively arranging activities such as guided tours, theme park or attraction tickets, you can add significant value to every itinerary, deepening traveler satisfaction, and unlocking new revenue opportunities for your agency.


With Expedia TAAP, you can easily find and book thousands of commissionable activities worldwide. Watch the video tutorial above or read below to learn how to book an activity on Expedia TAAP:

1. Enter search parameters

From the homepage search widget select the Activities tab and enter your search parameters. Then click Search.


2. Apply filters

Tip

Use the Top things to do section at the top of the results page to quickly suggest activities when building proposals for your travelers.

Popular filters and activity types include:

  • Tours & day trips
  • Theme parks
  • Attractions
  • Duration
  • Traveler rating
  • Recommendations

If you already know what the traveler would like to do, you can also enter keywords in the search bar.


3. Review the activity details

After selecting the activity, you can check the availability and see all the important details including photos, activity features, location, reviews, and more. Click Book to proceed to checkout.


4. Complete booking

Enter your traveler's contact information and the details for payment. Do a final review of the cancellation policy and then click Complete booking.


5. View itinerary for next steps

After booking, you'll see a confirmation screen, and will receive an instant confirmation sent to your Expedia TAAP email address. Click View My Itinerary for more details on the next steps, including redemption instructions.


6. Re-confirm with activity supplier

Some activity suppliers may require direct contact upon booking. If that's the case, and in particular on sightseeing tours, we recommend you contact the supplier directly to reconfirm the pick-up times or other arragements as needed.

You can find the supplier contact information easily by clicking Contact ticket provider from the itinerary page.


7. Redeem the voucher

After making the booking, click Print voucher within the itinerary details page (view screenshot above) and send it to the traveler.

We recommend travelers bring this voucher to the activity meeting point for redemption, and follow any special instructions noted on it.
